Canon PIXMA G2000 prints lightly on borderless mode
When it is noticed that 'Only Borderless mode appears faded, but Normal mode has correct colors,' simply change the paper option to anything other than 'Plain Paper' in the print settings. (Here, 'paper' refers to the print settings, not actual physical paper.)
For instance, switch to modes like 'Photo Paper' or 'Matte Photo Paper.'
This issue arises because Canon believes that Borderless mode consumes more ink, and using very thin paper could lead to excessive dampness. Therefore, the default ink usage for the 'Plain Paper' setting is reduced.

When doing borderless printing, try setting the paper type to Photo Paper. It should also allow you to set 'High Quality' which would normally be greyed-out.
Give this a try and let us know if it makes any difference :)
